Уильям Скалл (англ. William Scull, 1739 — 1784) — американский картограф и офицер во время Войны за независимость. Скалл был внуком Николаса Скалла, который занимал должность генерального землемера колониальной администрации Пенсильвании. В 1770 году он опубликовал карту Пенсильвании совместно с Робертом Сэйером и Джоном Беннеттом, гравюру для которой выполнили Генри Докинз и Джеймс Невил в Филадельфии. Карта многократно переиздавалась во Франции и Англии, хотя и считается компиляцией работ других картографов^[1]. Он получил офицерское звание капитана в 11-м Пенсильванском полку. Он ушёл с этой должности 1 июля 1778 года, чтобы занять место в штабе Роберта Эрскина в Географическом отделе Континентальной армии. Уильям Скалл также был членом Американского философского общества, избранным в 1768 году от города Рединг, штат Пенсильвания^[2].
