Chrysso (лат.) — род пауков из семейства Пауки-тенётники (Theridiidae). Известно более 60 видов. Евразия, Америка.

Описание

Мелкие пауки: самцы 1,1—6 мм, самки 1,4—8 мм^[5]. Род Chrysso можно отличить от других родов семейства Theridiidae по следующей комбинации признаков: (1) опистосома длиннее, чем шире или выше, задняя часть выступает за пределы паутинных желез; (2) срединный апофиз почти такого же размера, как тегулярный апофиз; (3) эмболус, отходящий от пролатеральной части эмболического основания и ретролатерально удлиняющийся, затем изгибающийся по часовой стрелке; (4) копулятивные протоки мешковидной формы; и (5) сперматеки сферические^[3].

Классификация

В широком таксономическом объёме в составе рода выделяют более 60 видов^[4]. Род был впервые описан в 1882 году английским зоологом Октавиусом Пикард-Кембриджом (1828—1917)^[6]^[7]. Морфология копулятивных органов у видов рода «Chrysso» (ранее принимаемого в широком объёме) весьма изменчива. Поэтому в 2026 году в качестве типового вида принимаемого в узком таксономическом смысле рода Chrysso был выбран вид Chr. albomaculata, а также всего восемь морфологически сходных видов из Северной и Южной Америки: Chr. albomaculata O. Pickard-Cambridge, 1882, Chr. diplosticha Chamberlin & Ivie, 1936, Chr. huanuco Levi, 1957, Chr. indicifera Chamberlin & Ivie, 1936, Chr. mariae Levi, 1957, Chr. sulcata (Keyserling, 1884), Chr. vallensis Levi, 1957 и Chr. vexabilis Keyserling, 1884^[3].
