Let the Dancers Inherit the Party — студийный альбом британской инди-рок-группы British Sea Power[17], вышедший 31 марта 2017 года[18] на лейблах Golden Chariot и Caroline International[19].

Об альбоме

Запись альбома в основном проходила в Брайтоне на студии Brighton Electric Recording Studios, а дополнительная запись и сведение - на студии Voltaire Road Studios в Клапеме в юго-западном Лондоне. Ранняя работа над альбомом, включая запись и написание песен, проходила в разных местах, включая замок Замке Лимпн и на острове Скай в Шотландии[20].

В конце 2016 года группа провела кампанию по сбору средств, чтобы выпустить альбом. Поклонники внесли предоплату за бокс-сет из 4 CD, содержащий альбом вместе с бонус-дисками с демо-записями, альтернативными версиями и инструментальными композициями. Этот бокс-сет, выпущенный ограниченным тиражом в 1000 экземпляров, был распространен одновременно с обычным альбомом[21].

Отзывы

Альбом получил положительные отзывы музыкальной критики и интернет-изданий. Он получил 77 из 100 баллов на интернет-агрегаторе Metacritic[1].
